The Gear

The following information describes the clothing/gear that will be needed during the course. Students must show up on the first day of class with appropriate attire as these items will not be provided by EliteFitness.

Appropriate Attire

Shirt - Red or Black shirt (solid color) - should be Dry-Fit and/or breathable material. Should be short sleeve and or tank/top style during summer months.
Shorts - Black in color only - should be running type with lining. Should not extend past the knee. Running pants are accepted as well but not reccommended during the summer months.


Shoes - shoes should be the running type and/or cross trainers (specifically for running).


Gloves - (reccommended) - certain activities/exercises are done on the ground - students may prefer to wear weight-lifting gloves or batting type gloves. Gloves should be lightweight.

"Inappropriate" Attire
  • Non-functional and/or not fit for the purpose of the class clothes or gear
  • Revealing or offensive clothing
  • Short shirts / bare mid-drift shirts or tops
Additional Gear Needed
  • Exercise Mat - at least 1/4 inch thick (approx) - to be used during ground exercises
  • Water - at least 24 oz Exercise Mat (can be purchased @ Academy or Sports Authority). Mat should be at least 1/4 inch thick Water bottle filled with water.
  • Bug spray and towel (these items are to be left in your vehicle).
