EliteFitness owner Chris Troy grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Upon graduating from high school, he enlisted in the US Navy and attended Navy Boot Camp in Great lakes, Illinois. Following Boot Camp, Chris attended US Navy SEAL Training in Coronado, California, also known as BUD/s (Basic Underwater Demolition School). He graduated BUD/s (Class 216) and was assigned to US Navy SEAL Team 8, based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Prior to joining SEAL Team 8, Chris also attended the US Army's Parachute Jump School at Fort Benning, Georgia. After arriving at SEAL Team 8, Chris attended SEAL Tactical Training (STT) to further enhance the special skills required of US Navy SEALs. Upon graduating from STT, Chris received the designation of US Navy SEAL and was pinned with the Trident insignia. Following STT, Chris was assigned to a Platoon and trained even further with 15 other members of his platoon in preparation for deployment overseas. While supporting the US Aircraft Carrier Battle Groups, Chris' Platoon operated in multiple countries in the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern theatres where they conducted multiple operations in support of US interests abroad.
After completing his enlistment contract, Chris received an Honorable discharge from the US Navy and moved to Houston, Texas. In Houston, Chris joined the US Navy Reserves and was assigned to Special Operation Command - Korea where he trained with other US Navy SEALs in support of US Operations in South Korea.
While in Houston, Chris attended the University of Houston and received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Throughout Chris' entire life he has been extremely active in sports and rigorous physical fitness. As an avid runner and triathlete, Chris has competed in many physical fitness and endurance events and has proven to be a leader and example to participants that train with him.

Andrew Torres is an accomplished runner and Triathlete who specializes in running drills and core training exercises that successfully optimize students' physical endurance and performance. He has competed in multiple Marathons and Triathlons in Texas such as the Houston and Austin Marathons, Longhorn Half Iron-Man, and has placed as a top runner/triathelete (by age group) in several local competitive events. In addition to Andrews' endurance sport training, he is a practicing massage therapist.
Andrews' fitness philosophy is to train hard, train smart and push through your limits to achieve your personal best.
